HOSTING & SERVER LOGS

This site is served by a third-party hosting provider. For technical operation and security, the host automatically processes server log files your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referrer URL, and your browser/operating-system version. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website. These logs are not merged with other data.

CONTACT REQUESTS

If you contact me through the contact form or by email, I process the information you provide — in particular your name, email address, optional topic, and message — to answer your request. For project enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract); for other messages, it is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence). Messages submitted through the form are delivered using Resend, a service of Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, acting as a processor. Resend primarily processes data in the USA; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where required, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact data is deleted once the request has been conclusively handled unless a statutory retention obligation or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims requires longer storage. See Resend’s Data Processing Addendum.

FONTS

The “Outfit” typeface is self-hosted and served directly from this site. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service, so no font-related data — including your IP address — is transmitted to external providers.

ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE

With your consent, this site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (both provided by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) to measure aggregated, anonymous page views and traffic trends, and to gather anonymous performance metrics (Web Vitals such as load and responsiveness times). Both are cookie-free, store nothing on your device, and never build a cross-site profile or identify you personally. To count visits, Vercel derives a temporary, non-reversible hash from the incoming request (e.g. IP address and user-agent combined with a daily-rotating salt); the raw IP address is discarded and never stored. Legal basis is your consent, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. As Vercel may process data in the USA, such transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Nothing is loaded until you accept — if you decline, none of the above takes place.

APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING (CAL.COM)

To let you book an intro call, the homepage can embed the scheduling tool Cal.com via its EU platform cal.eu (provided by Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). The calendar is never loaded automatically: it is only embedded after you actively click “Load calendar” (two-click solution) — until then, no connection to Cal.com is made and no data leaves this site. Once loaded, your browser connects to cal.eu, transmitting your IP address and browser details, and Cal.com sets a technically required cookie for bot protection. cal.eu is Cal.com’s EU-hosted platform and serves booking pages from servers within the EU; should data nevertheless be processed in the USA, such transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Details you enter when booking (name, email address, chosen time, optional notes) are processed by Cal.com to arrange the appointment. Legal basis for loading the embed is your consent, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG; for the booking itself, Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract. Your choice to load the calendar is remembered in your browser’s local storage; you can withdraw it at any time, with effect for the future, by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Alternatively, you can open the calendar directly at cal.eu without embedding anything here.

COOKIES & CONSENT

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only things stored are your consent choices themselves — for analytics and for the booking calendar — kept in your browser’s local storage so you are not asked again; this is strictly necessary to honour your decisions and requires no consent. You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time, with effect for the future, via (also linked as “Cookies” in the footer).

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, and to object to processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact felix@pyrra.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
